Quilt Documentation Days –  September 12th & 13th

Reserve an appointment during the NQM Quilt Documentation Days to learn more about your heirloom quilt, led by quilt documentarians and expert quilt appraiser and historian Vickie Coleman, the only quilt appraiser in Kentucky, certified by the American Quilters Society. Each participant will receive a documentation summary. All quilts documented will become a part of the historical record in the Quilt Index, a national electronic repository of quilts nationwide.

Quilt Documentation Days are primarily for Kentuckians who have inherited heirloom quilts, but residents from other states are also welcome to participate.  This project is funded through an America250KY Grant made possible through the Kentucky Arts Council and the Kentucky Historical Society.
