Museum volunteers meet visitors from around the world and enjoy a fun atmosphere around extraordinary art.
The National Quilt Museum is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that relies heavily on volunteers in order to achieve its goals. The museum welcomes over 40,000 people from all 50 US States and over 40 foreign countries to Paducah on an annual basis.
Volunteers fill important roles in several museum departments including interacting with museum visitors as docents in the gallery, helping the Education Department with youth programming, and helping the Curatorial Department with exhibit changes. No experience necessary.
