School Block Challenge 2025

School Block Challenge is a quilt block competition and exhibit, sponsored by Moda Fabrics, for children grades K-12 nationwide. Entries are judged in the following categories: K-4th grade, 5th–8th grade, 9th–12th grade. Cash prizes are awarded to the Grand Prize and First, Second, Third Place winners in each category.

The challenge fabrics, provided by Moda Fabrics, are the theme – with each of them worked into the design of every block. Blocks are grouped by grade category, with winners highlighted with a ribbon. As you explore the exhibit, we hope the imagination and creativity of each student inspires you!
