Fabrics
Recommendations (but bringing more fabrics is a GREAT idea!) More fabric equals more design options and flexibility. I tend to avoid large prints and primarily use prints-that-read-as-solids, hand-dyed gradations*, lights and darks. Hand-painted fabrics also work well, and we will experiment with Lumiere paints on the last day of class (included).
Fabric Minimum:
2 to 3 – 1 yard background fabrics that are somewhat different
8 – 20 fat quarters (a variety)
*8-20 fat quarter pack of hand dyed gradations
