Join our ‘Machine Quilting Fundamentals’ class, where you’ll embark on a creative journey into the world of quilting by machine. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll develop the muscle memory and skills needed to confidently guide your machine through classic filler stitches that bring your quilts to life. From stippling to meandering, learn the essential techniques that form the foundation of beautiful machine quilting. Discover the joy of creating intricate patterns and textures as you gain mastery over your machine, turning every quilt into a masterpiece. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class is designed to empower you with the knowledge and techniques to enhance your quilting experience!
Supply List:
- Sewing Machine with feed dogs that drop and machine quilting foot (or darning foot)
- One Yard of good quality cotton in a light or white solid color
- Thin cotton batting – Small size at least 18 x 30 inches (Warm and White or Warm and Natural are preferred)
- 50 weight cotton thread in a contrasting color (I like WonderFil or Aurifil Threads)
- A Machine Quilting Needle that is 75/11 or topstitch needle that is 80/12
- Notebook and pencil

In 2014 she launched her quilting pattern and notions business, and in 2022 opened a quilting boutique storefront in downtown Paducah.
