‘Kadey’s Dream’ Showcased at National Quilt Museum!

We featured local Paducah area artists in January this year, and this piece was a sight to see!

"Kadey's Dream" was created by Pam Heavrin. The idea for this quilt spurred from an idea Pam had for her granddaughter’s birthday. She wanted to create a unique gift for her granddaughter, who has a love for horses, and searched on Ebay for a gift idea. Through Ebay, she found a tea towel designed by Belinda Lyon that she instantly fell in love with. Pam instantly envisioned the beautifully designed tea towel as a larger piece of art and decides to turn the piece into a quilt that could be displayed as a wall piece. With help from the women of the Guild tribe, she turned her vision into this exquisite piece.
