Mary Kay Davis visited the museum to see the HERstory exhibit. Her quilt "LBD: Coco Chanel" is one of over 100 quilts included in the exhibit. This exhibit, on display through April 9, features quilts inspired by strong women in celebration of the anniversary of the 19th amendment.
Mary Kay began quilting in 1996 on a “quilt-as-you-go” project and hasn’t stopped since. She loves a good challenge and has entered numerous quilt shows and contests. Her quilts have won national contests and she contributes to books and magazines including 500 Traditional Quilts and 100 Tips from Award Winning Quilters from AQS.
