The National September 11 Memorial & Museum, located at the World Trade Center in New York City, leads the nation in commemorating the 20th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks that took the lives of 2,977 men, women and children in New York City, Arlington, Va. and near Shanksville, Pa. Twenty years after the attacks that changed our world forever, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum stands as a sacred symbol of fortitude and resilience in the face of unimaginable tragedy. The National Quilt Museum is honored and humbled to present an exclusive exhibition of quilts from the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.
“We hope everyone will make plans to see this powerful and poignant exhibition,” said Rachael Baar, curator. “The exhibition will be on display at The National Quilt Museum
from July 30 – November 2, 2021.
The National Quilt Museum is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that promotes the expansion of quilting through exhibitions, educational programming, quilt preservation efforts, and advocacy.
