Alternate routes to DOWNTOWN PADUCAH

Exit 4/Hwy 60 closure: Tuesday, May 28 through ~mid-August 2019

If you are planning to visit the museum this summer, a highway construction project at I-24 Exit 4 in Paducah may require a slight detour to get downtown. The interstate will remain open, but the ramps at Exit 4 and Hwy 60 at this exit will be closed.

Alternate Routes to the National Quilt Museum in Downtown Paducah

from the North... from the South...
OPTION 1: EXIT 3
· Take Exit 3 on I-24 E
· Turn left on Cairo Rd (KY-305) for 4.5 mi.
· Turn left on MLK Dr. for 1 mi.
· (MLK turns slightly right & becomes N. 4th St.)
· Turn left on Monroe for 1.5 blocks (at brown sign to Quilt Museum)
OPTION 1: EXIT 11
· Take Exit 11 on I-24 W
· Turn right on Puryear Dr. (KY-1954) for 6.1 mi.
· (Puryear becomes Sullivan after the light at Irvin Cobb Dr.)
· (Sullivan becomes 3rd Street)
· Quilt Museum is on right
OPTION 1: EXIT 7
· Take Exit 7 on I-24 E
· Turn left on US 62 E (Alben Barkley Dr.) for 1.1 mi.
· Turn left on Lone Oak Rd. for 0.5 mi.
· Turn right on Broadway for 2.6 mi.
· Turn left on N. 3rd St. for 2 blocks
· Quilt Museum is on right
OPTION 2: EXIT 7
· Take Exit 7 on I-24 W
· Turn right on US 45 N (Lone Oak Rd.) for 1.5 mi.
· Turn right on Broadway for 2.6 mi.
· Turn left on N. 3rd St. for 2 blocks
· Quilt Museum is on right
