Quilting offers us myriad choices in color, texture, pattern, style, artistic expression - but also in technique. In her improvisational Clam Session quilt workshop, you will work with cherished fabrics in patchwork and applique, utilizing traditional and innovative techniques by hand and machine.
In nutshell (or a clamshell), the class explores passion (interpretive color work and personal palette planning), improvisation (making stuff up), and execution (realizing it in fabric). And it's about empowering the quilter - you - as colorist, designer, technician, and artist.
