Sharon Schamber Workshop

Machine Quilting - July 11 - 13, 2013

Learn from master quilter Sharon Schamber as she teaches her revolutionary techniques and guides you down the path of creating your own art quilt.

This 3-day workshop starts with concept and design. Day one students learn Sharon's process and techniques on how to plan and draft your quilting designs to create exceptional quilts.

Students will focus on machine quilting techniques. You will learn several basic shapes that can be put together to create a meandering feather, and many other quilting patterns without having to mark your top. This class also teaches how to quilt borders, corners and blocks. You will learn how to make feathers fit in all sizes of borders. There is a secret to making the feathers flow evenly and smoothly and Sharon will show you that secret.
